people do not care about your ideas.

I’ve fallen into the entitlement trap.

Because of the picture I have in my head of the person I hope to become someday, I think everyone should just automatically respect and trust me.

Everyone in "Jehdiah World" should be on their knees begging to do a shoot with me simply because of my aspirations to be an affluent, renown, and respected figure in the film industry.

But in the real world, there are millions of gifted, diligent individuals in my exact position who are outworking me and succeeding at higher levels.

For those of us who didn't inherit a million dollars at birth, it usually takes years of sacrifices, sleepless nights, countless failures, and an ungodly amount of discipline that statistics show, 97% of the world isn't prepared to put forth.

Entitlement only inhibits our true growth. To think that we don't have to work for people's respect, love, and trust is insensitive and ridiculous. Sometimes they still have no reason to even after you give them one.

If I want to be in the top 3% and actually have people beg to work with me, I’m going to have to put in the work to earn my position and gain the respect of the people I want to lead.

There is only one path towards true greatness, and that is to realize that the world owes me absolutely nothing.
